Halcyon offers a variety of accounting services provided by our in-house client accounting specialists. These services offered to businesses of all sizes range from basic bookkeeping to advanced management reporting, advisory, and guidance.
Cloud Based Accounting Software
We most often recommend small business start with Quick Books Online or Xero. If you are a self-starter and like to do your own bookkeeping, we will thoroughly train you or your staff. We will teach you how to specifically organize and set up your invoices, bills, payroll records, and tax filings. We will teach you the basic to most advanced features of Quick Books Online. We show you how to record every transaction your business comes across. We teach you how to identify and record tax deductible transactions. We often find those overlooked tax deductions that all small business seem to forget like the home office deduction, auto expenses, meals & entertainment.
Monthly Bookkeeping Packages
One of the most important but overlooked functions of a small business is bookkeeping. We will perform this service for you at our offices or remotely. A live staff member will be dedicated to your account whom you are able to call and/or stop by at will here in our Fairfield, New Jersey offices. No work is ever outsourced to any US or international based firm. Your books and records never leave the walls of our offices.
We offer reasonable monthly fixed fee subscription packages. Most often these monthly fees will be significantly less than hiring a bookkeeping service or hiring an employee. Please ask us for a quote today.
Payroll Tax
We do not offer payroll services currently; however, we are well versed in payroll tax regulations as well as employment labor laws. We often are your starting point for your human resource questions so please don’t be afraid to ask. We have partnered with several national and local payroll processing firms to ensure your payroll and human resource function is fulfilled. Please ask about our payroll/HR partnerships.
Sales and Use Tax
We will assist you in determining what and when a product or service you sell is subject to sales tax. We will assess your monthly and/or quarterly sales and use tax and remit it on your behalf. We will set up the reporting in your POS and monitor it to ensure you are properly collecting and remitting tax on time.
1099 Independent Contractors
We will prepare your annual Form 1099s for all payments to your unincorporated vendors. We will request Form W-9’s directly from your vendors so you can focus on your business.
Insurance Audits
We will prepare, file, and submit your annual required insurance audits. We will host the auditors on your behalf at our Fairfield, New Jersey offices. We will gather all required information and leave you out of it so you can focus on your business.
